(Stockton, CA) – Bell Advertising expands its clients roster! Bell Advertising is excited to announce it now represents the Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex, home of Club All Star, along with the Stockton Ports Minor League Baseball club. The new partnership with Club All Star gives Bell Advertising exclusive sponsorship sales and marketing rights for the Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex.

Headed up by Greg Bell, Bell Advertising represents the Stockton Ports, minor league affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, in selling baseball sponsorships and tickets to corporations, businesses and individuals since 2011. In addition, Bell has 20 years of marketing experience in the radio broadcasting industry. He rose through the ranks starting as an Account Executive in the San Jose market to becoming the National Sales Manager for 10 radio stations based in the Los Angeles market, while servicing the San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas and New York (Madison Avenue) advertising communities. Bell collaborated with national advertising agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather and BBDO on marketing campaigns for American Airlines, Southland Corporations (7-Eleven Stores) and Coca-Cola to name a few. With over 40 years of advertising, marketing and sales experience, Bell has a proven track record on understanding his clients, product value and creating lasting relationships.

“Bell Advertising is dedicated to preserve the historical value of the Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex, enhance community involvement, while creating a safe environment for young athletes,” states Bell, “I am excited to have the opportunity to share my many years of advertising, marketing and sponsorship sales experience to continue the legacy of Billy Hebert Field.”

All Star Sports Events, Inc. was formed by JD and Danielle Hardcastle after being commissioned by the City of Stockton to restore the historical Billy Hebert Field and provide an affordable, quality venue for the youth of the community. Built in 1953, Billy Hebert Field was the original home to the Stockton Ports Minor League Baseball team. Notable players who have taken the field at Billy Hebert are Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Gary Sheffield, and Dave Henderson. It was also the home field for the University of the Pacific baseball team.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Hardcastle’s and the Club All Star staff, Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex has been restored back to its glory days. Billy Hebert Stadium, Dodie Healy Field and Kay Coe Field have all been upgraded with new infield artificial turf, along with the installation of cameras for live game streaming for fans to watch the games from home. One of the most impressive renovations is the addition of the new batting cages, which includes live video replay and Hitrax, the first and only baseball simulator. Furthermore, a new fully equipped weight room has been added to the complex. Billy Hebert Stadium, the two auxiliary fields and batting cages are all available for rent.

“We are so glad to have Bell Advertising on our team,” Hardcastle said, “I played on this field in college and it also plays such an important role in our Stockton history, so I am excited to see the rebirth of the field for more generations to come.”

In 2019, Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex hosted tournaments throughout the year and saw 656 travel baseball teams and around 7,000 players coming from both Southern and Northern California. The Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex is listed on the Northern California Travel Ball, NCTB, website along with the dates and registration information of upcoming tournaments. Local Stockton charter high schools utilize the complex for many of their home games. The prestigious local travel ball team Club All Star, along with Delta College Baseball Team, currently train at the Billy Hebert Field Baseball Complex. Distinguished Club All Star alumni include Aaron Judge, Dean Kremer, Barry Enright and more who have all made it to the show.
